The recycled leather we produce, is, based on the advantages of leather fiber, to make the chrome-contained cowhide waste scraps into the fifth type of leather fiber in addition to the four major types of natural fibers, including cotton, hemp, wool and silk, through hammering and defibrillation, then pulping, teasing and laying on the net, and then using a hydroentanglement machine to make into leather blanks, and finally processing into recycled leather after finishing. The performance of recycled leather is comparable to real leather, with high added value. It also can solve the problems of environmental pollution and the chrome-contained cowhide wastes unable to be fully used, etc. Therefore, our products not only belong to the new leather fiber recycling material involved in textile field, but also belong to a new multifunctional application material involved in the environmental protection industry.

       In the production process, the production of recycled leather has obvious advantages compared with traditional leather industry:

       1) Safe and pollution-free: no harmful solvents, heavy metals and other industrial materials are required, and no exhaust gas will be emitted during the production process;

       2) Environmentally-friendly recycle: 80% of the raw materials used in the recycled leather blanks come from the cowhide fibers generated by the defibrillation of recycled leather scraps; and the leather scraps are collected from the LWG tanneries;

       3) Water conservation: water for production can be recycled, saving 85% of water consumption compared with traditional leather industry;

       In China and the United States, most brands identify the leather with more than 50% leather fiber content as genuine leather. Our carefully manufactured recycled leather, made with at least 60% leather fibers, is comparable to natural leather in appearance, texture and smell.
